Sanford R. Robertson

Mr. Robertson is a Founding Partner of Francisco Partners and has been a Partner since its formation in August 1999. Mr. Robertson serves on the board of directors of Dolby Laboratories (DLB) and salesforce.com (CRM). Prior to founding Francisco Partners, Mr. Robertson was the founder and Chairman of Robertson, Stephens & Company, a leading technology investment bank which was formed in 1978 and sold to BankAmerica in 1998. Since the sale, he has been an active technology investor and advisor to several technology companies. Mr. Robertson was also the founder of Robertson, Coleman, Siebel & Weisel, later renamed Montgomery Securities, another prominent technology investment bank.
